About The Event

The beautiful Trans Catalina Trail is a gorgeous hike and one of the best backpacking trips for beginners.  It will be perfect for a backpacking and yoga retreat! It's a 53-mile, 4-day hike across the island with tent camping spots on gorgeous beaches! 🏕🌊🏝🥾

This trip is for you if you want to go on a backpacking trip with a supportive group of people and a healthy, sober vibe. Challenge yourself and make new friends! Cost: $650 per person. Reserve your space with a $200 deposit and then your balance will be due 1 month before we leave. There are only 6 spots available, so don't wait to reserve yours!

2 lunches aren't included. These can be purchased at the Airport Cafe and a cafe in Two Harbors along the way.

Trail details:

  • Distance: 37.2 miles officially, though we'll log a total of 53.3 miles because we'll have to hike back to Two Harbors at the end
  • Total elevation gain/loss: 9600′
  • Days of hiking: 4
  • Day 1:  Ferry to Avalon, hike Avalon to Black Jack – 15 miles
  • Day 2: Black Jack to Little Harbor – 9 miles
  • Day 3: Little Harbor to Parson's Landing- 13 miles
  • Day 4: Parson’s Landing to Two Harbors – 7 miles
  • Day 5: Ferry back to San Pedro

Cancellation Policy:

Since all retreat deposits and balance payments are used to secure venues, activities, and supplies, all payments are non-refundable.  In case of an emergency, a refund may be offered, depending on the circumstances and the decision of the Bigger Life Adventures team.

In some cases, if you cannot attend a retreat but have already paid, you can apply your balance paid to a future retreat or workshop.
