“I can’t say enough amazing things about Carrie and Zach and their Bigger Life Adventures! I wanted something different, challenging, out of my comfort zone, and adventurous for my 41st birthday, so I headed to Colorado for their yoga and hiking retreat. An 8-hour hike to the absolutely beautiful lake, a 3-hour rock climbing adventure through a canyon (one of the toughest things I’ve ever done, and I ain’t even break a nail 😌), a trip to the hot springs, with yoga and delicious organic and plant-based food. I challenged myself and I did it! This is my second retreat with them this year and I will absolutely be ‘retreating’ with them again! Come with me next year!”

“Hiking is a bit like life: “The journey only requires you to put one foot in front of the other…again and again and again. And if you allow yourself opportunity to be present throughout the entirety of the trek, you will witness beauty every step of the way, not just at the summit.”

I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order. Bigger Life Adventures has taught me how to come back to the present moment, and just be. To be okay with taking breaks and slowing down in life. Silent mornings with coffee and reading/writing. Mornings with beautiful mantras and energizing yoga one breath at a time. Then amazing hikes and adventures with the same like-minded people. I’m thankful for those people who are here on this journey with me, especially my sister. Come as you are.”
-Sammy, 2022

“Today in sharing circle we each gave our takeaway message than we each gave two words to describe everyone else. I was blown away by their words for me: calm, grounded, brave, confident, a growing flower, learner, courageous, youthful, inspiring. I always wonder how others feel about me. These kind words that were heartfully spoken spoke volumes to me. In such a short time, these wonderful people really got know me, and better yet, the real me was expressed to them. I was me the whole time – and that’s a good thing.”
-Rhonda, 2022

“Another incredibly grounding and healing retreat in nature with Bigger Life Adventures! Cheers to Carrie and Zach for your endless commitment! You’re so very good at what you do! Cheers to our strong and beautiful new friends in AZ, LA, UT, and FL! You’re all amazing!”
-Laura, 2023

“Carrie, Zach and Astrid were amazing hosts. The yoga was great and Carrie taught me a lot. The hikes were challenging and I learned how strong I am. I highly recommend Bigger Life Adventures!”
-Jodie, 2023

“I can’t say enough amazing things about Carrie and Zach and their Bigger Life Adventures! I wanted something different, challenging, out of my comfort zone, and adventurous for my 41st birthday, so I headed to Silverton, Colorado for their yoga and hiking retreat. An 8-hour hike to the absolutely beautiful Ice Lake Basin, a 3-hour rock climbing adventure through a canyon (one of the toughest things I’ve ever done, and I ain’t even break a nail 😌), a trip to the hot springs, with yoga and delicious organic and plant-based food. I challenged myself and I did it! This is my second retreat with them this year and I will absolutely be “retreating” with them in 2024! Come with me next year!”
