Why Retreat in New Orleans?

New Orleans isn’t just a location, it’s an experience in rhythm, resilience, and reverence.

・Sacred Rhythm & Culture – Music, dance, and storytelling infuse every moment here: inspiring you to reconnect with your inner flow.

・Healing Through Community – A city built on connection mirrors our intention for this mindful yoga retreat to gather, heal, and celebrate together.

・Support for BIPOC & Women-Owned Businesses – Every element of this retreat uplifts local women- and BIPOC-owned chefs, artists, and healers.

・The Spirit of the Feminine – Like the goddesses we study, New Orleans embodies power, creativity, and abundance.

Instead of Bourbon Street or late-night bars, this alcohol-free retreat invites you to savor the city’s heart. Art, food, and culture without the hangover and relationships that last beyond these 5 days..

The Spirit of the Feminine

The Crescent City mirrors the divine feminine archetypes we explore in yoga’s mythology. New Orleans is powerful (like the goddesses Kali/Durga), creative (like goddess Saraswati), and abundant (like goddess Lakshmi)—a space where mystery and magic meet the everyday.

To say yes to this retreat in New Orleans is to align with a city that already knows transformation, already knows rhythm, and already knows how to hold you in your becoming.

Let’s step away from the stereotypes of Bourbon Street and Mardi Gras. Experience the true magic of the Crescent City in exuberant and total presence on this alcohol-free New Orleans retreat.

LaTesha teaches from the heart, creating a practice that is grounded, compassionate, and fun. Her genuine passion for yoga creates a space that’s both safe and uplifting—where you’re free to explore, soften, and just be. Each class strikes a thoughtful balance between playful discovery and soothing stillness. Whether we’re laughing through a creative flow or resting in quiet reflection, I always leave feeling more connected, centered, and renewed after her classes.

You will fly into the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). Car rentals, taxis, and ride apps (Uber & Lyft) are easily accessible at the New Orleans airport. Accommodations are located around 20-25 minutes from the airport.

This retreat takes place on a Monday through Friday because it makes accommodations more budget-friendly and the city’s tourist attractions less busy. We highly recommend extending your trip to experience more of NOLA! The weekend before the retreat is Jazz Fest, if you are interested. The weekend after the retreat will be more chill and less busy.

Since all retreat deposits and payments are used to secure venues, activities, and supplies, and since canceled spots require extra time and energy to re-fill, all payments are non-refundable. In true emergency situations, your payment *may* be able to be transferred to a future retreat or event, based on the decision of our team. Cancellations due to fear or travel are not refundable or transferable.
